My heart project.
A space where South Asian art can exist boldly, proudly, and without dilution. We’ve had over five sold‑out shows, each one filled with colour, music, drag, dance, and community.
Our most recent production, Bollywood Cabaret at Intrepid Theatre, brought together artists across disciplines under the umbrella of Indian cinema. It was a celebration of everything we are—loud, tender, dramatic, joyful.
And this is only the beginning. Spice It Up Victoria is growing, and with it, a community that is hungry for representation and connection.
A new series beginning at the end of May!
This project is a love letter to the city I was born in—Mumbai—and to the drag artists who continue to shape its queer landscape.
Each show features:
a drag performer from Mumbai joining live on screen
me, as Bad Shah, performing on stage
a conversation across continents about identity, art, and what it means to be Bollywood drag kings born in the same city but performing in different worlds.
It’s intimate, honest, and rooted in the idea that home is something we carry with us.
