Who is Bad Shah?
My alter ego and Drag persona, Bad Shah बाद शाह, is a Bollywood drag king who carries the drama, charm, and cinematic magic of the heroes I grew up watching. Bad Shah is my way of reclaiming brown masc identity —celebrating it, queering it, and giving it space to breathe.
Some of Bad Shah’s accolades include collaborations with music act BBNO$, and performing at The JUNO Awards, Brownout, and Sher Vancouver.
